Applying for a session with the L’EMPREINTE Foundation is a simple, thoughtful process, designed to meet you where you are. Our service is available to individuals and families navigating serious illness, terminal illness or end-of-life care. You may be applying for yourself and your family, for a loved one, or on behalf of a healthcare facility or support organisation. However you arrive here, you are welcome.

Our photography sessions are offered at no cost and are guided by presence rather than performance. There is no expectation to pose, to smile, or to be anything other than what this moment already is. A professional photographer will spend time quietly documenting what matters most: small gestures, familiar spaces, connections that words cannot always hold. These images are not about illness, but about love, belonging, and the traces we leave on one another.

Submitting an application does not commit you to anything. It simply opens a conversation. Once received, we will be in touch to discuss your needs. We are entirely guided by you; such as timing, location, and any considerations that may help us support you in the best possible way.
